💛 Jen & Philip’s Journey: A Home with Purpose
3457 Forbes St, Santa Clara
All are created equal in human dignity — but not all are born into equal circumstances. Jen & Philip were raised with humble means and understand firsthand the hardship life can bring, especially when circumstances are beyond our control.
After building a life in Santa Clara for over 20 years, they feel incredibly blessed to have called this safe, welcoming, and vibrant community home. And now, as they prepare for their next chapter closer to family, their focus is on something much bigger than a home sale — it’s about making a lasting impact.
Jen & Philip have partnered with International Crisis Aid Inc., a nonprofit they’ve supported for years. What began with food relief in South Sudan has grown into a global mission providing emergency medical care, clean water, housing, nutrition, and rescue operations — especially for women and children affected by human trafficking and severe poverty. One of the most powerful initiatives includes helping girls trapped in red light districts receive counseling, job training, and the support needed to begin a new life.
Their connection to this cause is deeply personal.
“We believe homes should carry stories beyond their walls. For us, this sale is an opportunity to give back, to change lives, to bring hope where it’s needed most.” — Jen & Philip
“Ever since we had enough income to cover our basic needs, we wanted to give back to society — to those less fortunate.” — Jen & Philip
Years ago, they donated a home in Southern California to help expand Crisis Aid’s hospital. Now, they’re continuing that mission by donating a significant portion of the sale proceeds from their Santa Clara home to further Crisis Aid’s work — from providing medical care and food to safe housing and vocational training.

Santa Clara is one of the most populous cities in Silicon Valley, with 120,000 residents. It is also the home of the San Francisco 49ers, who play at the recently built Levi’s Stadium.
Like much of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara attracts tech workers, and the city is home to nearly 80 corporations in the industry, including Intel Corp., McAfee Inc., and WebEx. Tucked between Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and San Jose, the city offers easy access to Highway 101 and state Route 82. Santa Clara has both Caltrain and Amtrak stations, and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority operates light-rail trains that lead directly to the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Santa Clara boasts more than 50 parks, as well as a highly ranked library. California’s Great America theme park is also located in the city, as is the Triton Museum of Art.
According to 2013 United State Census Bureau data, the median income in the city was $92,000, and the median home value was $613,000. Of the 45,147 housing units located in Santa Clara, 45 percent were occupied by the owners.
